These past few months I’ve been working on creating a jewelry line that would reflect my interest in spreading good messages. I think that wearing jewelry, specifically necklaces with positive words, can help one maintain an optimistic mindset. Here’s a look at some of the pieces I’ve come up with recently.
Remember this piece?
This one has become my favorite everyday necklace.
Come August I’m planning to offer eighteen different necklace styles which will be available through my website. And just in case you’re wondering, the price for each necklace will range between $32 – $46, with complimentary shipping for domestic orders.
Before I get this all set up on my website I’d love some feedback. Please share whatever comments or suggestions you may have. For instance, which particular word (s) speak to you, which stones or bead colors make you the happiest or do you favor a certain chain style or length? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated…thank you!!

i love the copper, the big round silver circle, the orange and yellow beads, and the love you have put into making these.

I love it. I love the simplicity. I love the idea. This is odd…but I have had a similar idea. I don’t think I ever could have put it into form in the same (wonderful) way. It is so organic and something I would wear daily.

let me just say that
“soar” is MY favorite
everyday necklace!
(thank you, again for
drawing my name!)
these are lovely
pieces of jewelry,
but the message
they bear is what
it’s all about. i think
they will fly out of
your shop!
happy day!

Becky these are beautiful! I really love the orange bead – such a happy color! I really like the combination of the round metal circle with the rectangular metal word piece…and the pearls….well, how could you ever go wrong with those beautiful pearls. Right now I’m really loving the word “grace” – it seems to apply in so many areas of everyday life….Funny enough – this past weekend I was also working on a piece of jewellery with a word …. a “porthole” through which a tiny word can be viewed. Doreen, Your porthole jewelry sounds so interesting…I’d love to get a peek when you’re done. And thanks for the “grace” word suggestion…it’s a great one. I used this word a while back for some holiday ornaments, but since this was so long ago, I’ve completely forgotten about it…thanks for the very helpful reminder.

These are really gorgeous!!!

Becky,
These are all really lovely; I am partial to reach, grow and bloom, right now.
I love green n’ blue…green to me is calming and reminds me of nature.
I like the word nurture. Blue is another fav, reminds me of the sky and the ocean…I think of the words, soar, which you already have, calm, serene and peace. Other words I think of are: focus, reflect and listen. I like the second emerge necklace with the silver circle. They are all pretty, but this one speaks to me right now….

Neat stuff, Becky! I want to learn some stamping myself but never seem to get any time! You do great work!

my feedback is simply that i love each and every one of them! i love the fact that they’re all unique, and they’re all very “becky”…..fabulous!!!! xoxo

Hi Becky! Your necklaces are so inspiring and beautiful! Love the emerge necklaces! All are super sweet! They sparkle with the Becky Shander style I love! 🙂

they are really very pretty… here is my opinion…I like a few beads but not TOO many as it takes away from the word pendant..also I am pretty color conscious as well so I may not purchase one with a bead of a color that i don’t normally wear. I like the chains you are using but am most drawn to the rope style on your everyday “emerge”…I should have written this in an email it is so long…they will be very popular no doubt and who does not need a bit more
positive flow!! blessing ~ elk

i love them all, but if i had to choose, i think i’m more partial to the mica covered words. i’m an english major so i’m drawn to words anyways, and i really like the simplicity of these. as far as colors, i’m a beach girl, so i’m partial to blues and greens. a word i like is “leap”. kinda goes along with your “soar”. 🙂

“Reach” is my favorite all the way around – word, style, color. I love the word “Grace” and see it was suggested. The “XoXo” is lovely too. I could see me wanting one larger bead to secretly represent my husband and two smaller beads to represent my kids…I think I just made a custom order?! lol May I also suggest “Blessed.”

These are all such great suggestions…thanks so much. Next week I’ll definitely work on making more samples using your tips. Thanks again ladies!

wow becky…
your talent never ceases to AMAZE me.
you have a plethora of comments here too…i think it is so neat that we are all so different in our opinions. each one unique in our tastes.
my favorite for color is the “emerge” with the orange and the yellow. i don.t usually go for BRIGHT colors but love muted oranges and turquoise..(im a turquoise girl). i love the pieces that have the big circle like the bloom necklace. i love all of your words…maybe “cultivate” for me. “rest” is another word i would love to have touching me to remind me of it.s importance. and as far as the length…i love ALL lengths because i usually have at least 3 necklaces on. i would probably love these on a longer chain.
like i said…all different voices here, but i love exactly what you have done.
you are a wonder.
happy fathers day weekend to your family.

Becky, I love them all! They are so cool and will affect whoever wears them and whoever comes into contact with them in such a positive way. I, myself, am drawn to neutrals, earth tones and black/whites. Can you do one that says ‘love’? I also like the word ‘grow’ – oh, it’s so hard to pick a favorite!!!!
Blessings,
Lisa
