Yesterday I was treated to the most beautiful blue sky. Its beauty was captivating, causing me to pause in awe of all the wonders that nature so abundantly provides.
With deep appreciation, I was inspired to create this bracelet…
…choosing elements that say “sky” along with a bit of “branch” (suede lace) to represent the amazing trees that are essential to maintaining the balance of life on earth.
And of course I included a spot of blue too. I like how one small element, such as this single bead, can have a big impact. This is very reassuring – it makes me feel like we can each make a positive mark in this world. Hopefully, the impression that we make will exude grace, beauty, kindness, generosity, etc…all good things that are connected to love.
Later in the day I found time to make a couple more similar bracelets…I guess the beauty of the sky really got under my skin. Luckily, there was space in the day to allow this flow of creativity and thought to run its course.
The bracelet shown above is up for grabs to the first person who expresses interest (simply leave a comment to this post.)
Happy blue skies ahead to all you creative lovelies.

Beautiful words and bracelet to match Becky! Upon looking at this piece I immediately thought of the sky blue and yellowish beads as bird’s eggs-another element of the beauty of nature. Have a lovely day.

Well, I am on the west coast of Vancouver Island so I know the time zone is a factor. I am soooo not first.
Your work is inspiring, that bracelet is simple and really does reflect those elements. I love the suede branch. I may have to get busy and make a blue sky bracelet myself. It is indeed a blue sky morning here in Victoria BC today. Which is a nice change from what has been here lately. RAIN, RAIN, and more rain. 🙂
Thanks for the chance. Have a great day. CREATE

Beautiful bracelet Becky & I can see why you were so inspired by that gorgeous sky. When we lost our lab Ben we were driving home from visiting our daughter and the sky was similar to your photo ~ the bluest of blues. We were talking about Ben and when I looked up, the clouds had formed a giant heart ♥ It was one of those moments we’ll never forget.
Happy Blue Skies to you Becky & Happy February 1st xo

The finished result of the bracelet is definitely a thing of beauty but it is your creative thought process which enthralls me. The touch of suede to represent the tree’s branch is remarkable in attention to detail.
