Is it too early for eggs? I hope not. I’m guessing many of you are having a good-ole time making hearts for Valentine’s Day. However, if you’re craving a break from hearts, you’ll find my egg-inspired project (for each of the four seasons) inside the new issue of GreenCraft.
Within the article there are specific instructions on how to create some egg shaped pillows and pockets using random recycled stuff from around the house.
Just in case you’re still in the mood for making hearts, I’ll be back within the week with some more heart-inspired creations. Also, if you like, you can adapt this egg project to make something for Valentine’s Day by simply making heart shaped pillows and pockets (perfect for stashing sweet treats like my favorite, mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups) instead of eggs.
I think both hearts and eggs are good year-round, don’t you? To me they say goodness and all things positive…something that can be applied to every day of the year. Every little bright bit counts.

I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new issue of GreenCrafts, (kind of like waiting for Spring!).
My mom and I were just talking this past weekend on how we never seem to do much creating in honor of Easter or Spring, so this year we were really going to pay more focus. I think your wonderful projects are the perfect inspiration to get us going!
