Sometimes a 2 inch square is enough…
…to create something with heart. In the March/April issue of Somerset Studio, in my article, “Heart Canvases: Small Acts of Affection”, you’ll find the how-to instructions to create these mini-heart pieces.
Within this same magazine, in the “With One Stamp” section you’ll see a couple examples of what I created using the Mannequin Cafe (No. 6) stamps from Character Constructions.
The instructions for my stamped projects are included within this magazine, but if you come across additional questions please feel free to contact me. I’m always happy to help.
On another note, this week I’ll be putting together a giveaway to celebrate Spring’s arrival (I know this is a bit early, but I’m just SO excited for this season to begin.) I’ll post the items this coming Friday…please stop by again for a chance to win my preview of Spring.

Becky, as soon as I saw the pieces in Somerset, I knew it was you. You just never cease to amaze me with your creativity!!! And the birds….need I say more…absolutely beautiful!! The colors and compositions work just right. Thank you for more lovely creations that are a feast for the eyes! (p.s.-at this writing, the birds are eating me out of house & home here in CT-I’m spending a fortune on birdseed, but it’s worth every penny). Snow is finally melting and the days are warmer..spring is just around the corner (I think).

Personally, the smaller for me, the better. If I have too much space, there is too much to gunk up — I feel like I have to use every border, every brad, every sticker and embellishment I have. Using a smaller space controls me … lol. And of course, you know that I love your things, big or small. 🙂 Happy Day.

I’m really into reducing the stuff around me these days so your tiny treasures work for me! I just love the simplicity of them.
The mannequin pieces made me smile….the book pages striped skirt and the bird cage skirt…wow! You are so creative Becky!
Thank you so much for sharing your ideas!

You do amazing things with two inch squares! These are beautiful Becky and I can’t wait to get my copy – the magazines are always a bit later here so I am usually a bit behind on the buzz…
Your heart projects always seem to be my favourites; they are simple yet beautiful and oh so inspiring.

Again another thing I impulsively bought and have just played with. I painted a small bird (imagine that) on my small canvas. As always love how you always can incorporate a bird in your pieces!

Lovely work, and great use of the stamp from the Mannequin Cafe collection by Character Constructions. Thank you for including a stamp credit in your description, it’s always nice to see the stamp used by skilled and thoughtful hands. Xo
