Blue Skies, Bright Thoughts and Sending Joy

Under a bright blue sky, anything is possible…

…fruits flourish…

…car rides become exhilarating…

…and rainbows reveal themselves.  This was the first time I’ve ever seen a double rainbow, but the camera didn’t seem to catch the second beam very well.  I guess some things are meant to be enjoyed only in the moment.

Wherever you are and wherever you go, may there be blue skies ahead.

Before I end this post, I’d like to thank all of you who participated in my necklace giveaway from the previous post.  I very much enjoyed reading about the things that make you happy.  And it seems that many of us have the same things on our list of joys…even knowing this gives me joy.  And I love that we have so much in common, so thank you for sharing your bright thoughts with me!

The winner for the necklace is Deborah Klepac.  Deborah, please contact me with your mailing address so that I can send my little piece of “joy” your way.

My dear, you send a little piece of joy every time you write all of us! Thanks very much for the sunshiny thoughts. Here in the desert, it’s more like sunshine all the time — bliss! I do find I work better when there is sun. If we have an overcast day, somehow, it just isn’t the same. Well, for one thing, there isn’t so much good light! I do respond better to the strong light. Thanks for the beautiful photos! And I squinted at that rainbow, and yes, I did see the second one.

Beautiful photos Becky-I just love the architecture of that first building (Spain?) And to see a double rainbow-I saw one over the ocean last year with my friend-so AWE some. I’m going with that friend and another this week for a few days at the beach-who knows what magic we’ll experience this time:)

Congratulations Deborah on winning that special necklace!

  8. Congratulations Deborah. Becky dear your photos are lovely and bring bright beautiful sunshine smiles to my soul. I have visited Spain and remember a building with exactly this same arched and carved architecture. The Moorish influence with such details. Joy is everywhere…
