Crescendoh‘s launch party is tomorrow evening…and oh how I wish that I could be there to celebrate with everyone. Unfortunately this is one of the down sides to living on the East Coast. However, I have a feeling that there will be many more causes to celebrate going forward, so hopefully next time I’ll be able to join in on the fun. And to those of you who are lucky enough to make it this time, enjoy…have a blast!
BTW, last week while Bill was away I busied myself with making some small things using stamps available at Crescendoh. Here’s a quick look at what I came up with. In the gallery section at Crescendoh you’ll find project samples along with how-to instructions. Using stamps is a new thing for me…how about you and what new things have you been experimenting with?

I love your wax paper florals ; Me, I am working on a birthday tote for my daughter’s friend. We bought, the cutest earrings, text message ones, OMG, LOL, TTYL, etc. Lip sunglasses and other unique finds…now to
wrap it up special and a card. I am making something OOAK, to put it all in. Time to go through Teen mags and see what i can come up with.
Perhaps I should grab the wax paper and see what I can do….
Thanks for the inspiration!!!
Love these….

Yes, these are zig-zag stitches on strips of wax paper. In addition to the wax paper I used parchment paper to create leaves, but unfortunately these aren’t really visable in the photos.

Hi Becky,
I love those dresses and the french knots adorning your creations. Stamps are so fun to play with. Thanks for stopping by to visit me. I’m so excited for my trip! I’m working on getting my corset and dress cut out but my sewing machine is on the fritz right now. Thankfully, a good friend said I could borrow hers.
Hope you’re having a happy day Becky. 🙂

These are a beautiful Becky! I love the combination of the wax paper and the stitching. I have always been French knot challenged. 🙂 And you’re right! There always seems to be something truly fabulous happening over on the West Coast. I love CrescenDoh too. I’m a guest curator this week!
